Back in November 1997 the Advertiser sent out its photographers to capture street scenes in Newark.
In the second part of our feature, we look at how Lombard Street, London Road and Appletongate looked 25 years ago.
While much of it remains the same, the shops — and the fashions — have certainly changed.
On Beaumond Cross, the Robin Hood Hotel can still be seen.
Many other shops have also disappeared from the Newark high street in the past 25 years.
