Newark Police thanks Greggs on Stodman Street for treats and snacks to hand out to emergency services
More positive recognition of our emergency services is being seen across Newark.
Newark Police thanked Greggs on Stodman Street for providing them with treats and drinks to hand out on their shift.
The care package was shared among colleagues at East Midlands Ambulance, Newark Fire Station and Newark Hospital.
Officers urged the community to continue to support our nurses, doctors, emergency services and other key workers who continue to work to provide and maintain vital services during the virus pandemic.
They said: "Please continue to keep safe and abide by the Government's advice, only go out when absolutely necessary and use 999 responsibly."
