Newark MP Robert Jenrick holds senior citizens’ fair in Balderton




Newark MP Robert Jenrick organised a senior citizens’ fair.

Senior citizens could go to Balderton Village Centre on Friday to learn more about how they get more involved with the community by chatting to groups.

These included Your Health, Your Way, Nottinghamshire County Council, Age UK, Active4Today, Beaumond House, U3A and the Royal Air Forces Association.

Mr Jenrick said: "It was great to welcome hundreds of local people to my annual Senior Citizens Fair in Balderton on Friday.

“We had representatives from the local councils, the NHS, the fire and rescue service and a whole range of charities and community groups, showing everything that is going on in our area, so that people can stay happy and healthy and access an amazing array of local services.
