Multi-award-winning The Vegan Cakery to bring popular afternoon tea experience to Newark in November
A multi-award-winning vegan business is set to bring its popular afternoon tea experience to Newark next month.
The Vegan Cakery — a Leicestershire-based business — offers a wide variety of diary-free cakes, pastries and sweet treats.
With only limited tables still available for the unique affair, members of the public are encouraged to make a booking to enjoy the cakery's delights.
It will arrive in Newark Town Hall's Assembly Room on Saturday, November 23, and will be hosted from 12-6pm.
After seated at their tables, guests will be able to choose from a range of more than ten specialist teas before enjoying three served courses.
Starting with an Amuse-Bouche, an assortment of freshly prepared finger sandwiches follows before scones, served with vegan ‘cream’ and preserve, finished off with a selection of award-winning artisan cakes and pastries.
The Vegan Cakery’s afternoon tea intends to provide elegance and enjoyment, and is priced at £25 per head.
Michelle Orme, who established The Vegan Cakery in 2012, has built a glowing reputation for her vegan and cruelty-free treats, and said she is looking forward to visiting the historic town of Newark.
"I really can’t wait for the afternoon tea experience in Newark, the Town Hall is a wonderful venue and lends itself perfectly to the event", said Michelle.
"I’ve been blown away really with how popular my afternoon teas have become over the last couple of years, and not just with vegans or those with plant-based diets either.
