Fire crews including Newark rush to scene of crash in Bingham




Several fire crews including Newark rushed to the scene of a crash.

One male was extracted from the vehicle after crashing into a hedge, and left in the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Fire crews from Newark, Bingham, London Road and Highfields were called to the collision on Granby Lane, Bingham, at 4.33pm today.

On Twitter, the fire service said: "16:33hrs crews from #NewarkStn16, #BinghamStn17, #LondonRoadStn03 and #HighfieldsStn29 attended an RTC on Granby Lane, Bingham.

"This was 1 vehicle in collision with a hedge. 1 male was extracted by service and left in care of #EMAS #NotJustFires."
