New police figures reveal hare coursing is on the decline.
The data follows the launch of #OpGalileo, a new strategy implemented by the rural team at Lincolnshire Police.
It will see 12 forces work together to target the key offenders, supported by the UK National Wildlife Crime Unit (NWCU)
Hare coursing is the pursuit of hares with greyhounds and other sighthounds, which chase the hare by sight, not by scent.
Police say their focus is on prevention.
