E. Louise & Co salon, at 24 Main Street, Balderton, opens offering hair and beauty treatments ready for a night out
A new hair and beauty salon has opened its doors offering everything you need for a night out under one roof.
More than 80 people attended E. Louise & Co, at 24 Main Street, Balderton’s grand opening on Saturday.
James Scott and wife Charlotte Scott, bought the former Ernest Banks Greengrocers and have been restoring the building for the past 11 months.
The business, run by a team of five, offers hair cuts, colour and braiding, bespoke nails, lashes, rows, waxing and footology, both medical and cosmetic.
The couple bought the salon to as they wanted to invest in a new project. The salon is run by their daughter – Ellie Scott, a beautician and hairdresser.
The team, which works indepedently, also includes Millie Scott (hair and beauty), Abby Pearson (hair and nails), Jess Catton (nails) and Anna Bircumshaw (footology).
“We wanted to start a new project and creating a place where people can go and get everything done in one place seemed perfect,” said Charlotte Scott.
“Our daughter and her friends whenever they were getting ready they would have to jump from place to place in town, but now people have the opportunity to get it all done at once.
“Either it is for a night in town, a day at the races or just to feel good.”
The salon opens Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm.
