New Iceland store within The Range, Newark, opens to public

The Range in Newark has opened up an Iceland branch within its store.

From your essential fresh fruit and veg to Greggs and Slimming World specials, the new Iceland is packed with items you need for your weekly shop.

It sells meat and dairy produce, alongside store cupboard staples and frozen food.

The Range hopes the Iceland addition will ensure people can do their food shop, but also nip across the store for cleaning products and pet essentials.

The store said it has made additional changes to ensure customers can shop for essentials safely and in line with government guidance, including social distancing markers; sanitising stations at the entrance; and contactless card payment where possible.

An Iceland spokesman said: “We’re delighted at the opening of the latest Iceland within The Range’s Newark store.

"Iceland and The Range is an ideal partnership offering customers an innovative shopping experience that brings both concepts together under one roof.

“We are sure that local customers will welcome this new opportunity to shop from our exciting selection of great value, high quality frozen and fresh food.”

The new Iceland opened to customers on Friday.
