On Fieldfare Road the facility is a further location to recycle in the town and to assist residents in the hundreds of new homes in the adjacent Hollygate Park.

The new facilities are also an opportunity for residents in Cropwell Bishop, Cropwell Butler, Stragglethorpe and other local villages to deposit tetra pak cartons at the site.

Rushcliffe Borough Council’s portfolio holder for environment and safety, Rob Inglis said: "This new facility is already benefitting hundreds of residents in the local area, all of whom are playing their part in helping to 100% recycle these items by depositing

them at this dedicated bring site.

"Remember to only place plastic bottles, cardboard, yoghurt pots, margarine tubs, paper and cans in the blue bin at home and bring the other items to these recycling sites across the borough."
