NEWARK AND SHERWOOD DISTRICT COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 BATHLEY FOOTPATH NO.9 DIVERSION ORDER 2017

The above order was made on 26th October 2017.

The effect of the Order will be to divert part of the

public footpath running from a point SK 7778 5895

at the junction with Bathley Footpath no.10 and

proceeding for a distance 55 metres in a generally

north westerly direction to a point SK 7774 5899 at the

junction with the remainder of Bathley Footpath no.9

shown by a bold black line on the order map. A newly

created footpath will commence from point SK 7778

5895 at the junction with Bathley Footpath no.10 and

proceed for a distance of approximately 45 metres

in a generally westerly direction and then proceed for

a distance of approximately 70 metres in a generally

northerly direction and then proceed for a distance

of approximately 3 metres in a generally westerly

direction to a point SK 7774 5899 at the junction with

the remainder of Bathley Footpath no.9 on a stone

surface and having a width of 1.5 metres.

A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free

of charge at Newark and Sherwood District Council,

Castle House, Great North Road, Newark,

Nottinghamshire, NG24 1BY from 9:00am to 5:00pm

Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. Copies of

the Order and map may be bought there at the price

of £10.

Any representation about or objection to the Order

may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Karen

White, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Castle

House, Great North Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire,

NG24 1BY no later than 8th December 2017. Please

state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly

made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Newark and

Sherwood District Council may itself confirm the Order

as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the

Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural

Affairs for confirmation any representations or

objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent

with the Order.
