Newark attractions featured on list of best things to do in Nottinghamshire

Several attractions in Newark and Sherwood have been featured on a list of some of the best things to do in Nottinghamshire.

The list by Visit Nottinghamshire pulls together some of the highest rated activities in the county from Trip Advisor.

Newark Castle, arguably the town's best known attraction, is included— coming in at number two for Newark on the Trip Advisor website.

Also on the list is Newark Air Museum at Winthorpe with over 600 reviews and an average 4.5/5 rating.

Attractions outside of Newark haven't been forgotten about, with the ever-popular White Post Farm in Farnsfield also making the cut.

Other activities in the district with high Trip Advisor reviews are the Workhouse in Southwell and a visit to Sherwood Pines, which is located in the historic Sherwood Forest.
