Newark Castle train station reopens crossing barriers after an hour

The railway crossing barriers at Newark Castle train station are functioning again.
The crossing reopened at roughly 12.50pm.
It is believed the barriers were down for more than an hour.
Marshalls Coaches first reported the incident at 11:41am.
AA travel news suggests traffic is still slow moving in the area.
The update shows delays of five minutes on A46 Southbound between A1133 and A617 (Cattle Market roundabout).
