Specialist chilli-eater Billy McBlane has added another hot dish to his repertoire.

Billy, 34, of Newark, completed a hot food challenge put to him by chef Mark Walters, of Newark-based Curry To You last week.

Mark, who claimed he had made one of the world's hottest curries, congratulated Billy for his efforts and said he hoped to test him again with an even hotter dish in the future.

Residents gathered in the market place to watch Billy take on the spicy curry.
