Newark crews called to standing corn fire in field in Fernwood

Newark crews dealt with a fire in field of standing corn.
Firefighters were called to Hollowdyke Lane, Fernwood, after 8pm on Sunday.
They were met with 20m x 30m of standing corn alight in a field, as well as one straw bale on fire.
Crews used one hose reel, beaters and drag rakes to extinguish the fire.
