Newark Festival 2014: More stars added to line-up
Newark Festival 2014 has added to its already star-studded line-up by confirming appearances from music legends Marc Almond and Heaven 17.
They will appear on Saturday, June 21 as special guests of headliners The Human League.
Marc Almond is an internationally acclaimed artist.
He has sold more than 30m records worldwide and is an icon and influence to a generation of musicians.
The hit single, Tainted Love, broke all records as the track that remained the longest in the US billboard top 100 and received a Brit award for best single in 1981.
Heaven 17 will be performing some of their hits including Let Me Go, Come Live With Me and the classic Temptation.
The festival, which had already confirmed Union J, Luke Friend, Rough Copy, Loveable Rogues, Ollie Marland and Tich for Friday, June 20, now promises a thrilling line-up for the Saturday ahead of The Human League.
Closing the Festival on Sunday, June 22 is a family extravaganza including a fun fair, food and drink festival, Newark Carnival and street entertainment.
