"Without a shed of doubt the festival has come on leaps and bounds in recent years through sheer hard work, a clear vision and the incredible support of the Newark community, who continue to show amazing support year on year.
"Newark Festival not only delivers a varied line-up of original artists and family entertainment every year, but it also drives tourists into the shops, restaurants, cafes and to accommodation providers and local businesses, so it has become a key contributor to our local economy.
We would really love to win the Best Small Festival Award not just for us but for the entire Newark community, so please do give us a vote!”
Voting is open to the public, with the winners announced a the 2018 UK Festival Awards on December 6 in London.
