Newark Magnus Academy pupils take part in junior maths challenge

Pupils in Newark tackled multiple-choice questions designed to stimulate an interest in maths.
Year seven and eight students at the Magnus Church of England Academy took part in the junior maths challenge, a national challenge aimed at high ability students.
Ethan Mcintosh, 13, and Poppy White, 12, achieved gold awards and Scott Bonser, 12, was awarded silver.
Bronze awards went to Jasmine Clark, 12, Indiana Mackintosh, 13, Travis McQuaid, 13, Connor Hubbard, 13, Kasey Roberts, 13, Megan Baker, 13, Jordan Lovett, 12, Georgia Furmidge, 12, Bailey Mays, 12, and Ella Mae Hasell, 12.
