Newark man admits attempting to engage in sexual chat with child and arranging to meet her for sex

A Newark man has admitted attempting to engage in sexual chat with a child and arranging to meet for sex.

Habibur Rahman, 41, pleaded guilty to the offences at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday.

He is charged with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and arranging the commission of a child sex offence.

Habibur, of Alliance Street, will appear at crown for sentence on July 1.
