Newark: Car seized after it failed to stop for police

A car was seized in Newark yesterday after it failed to stop for police earlier this week.

Officers from Newark Police Operation Reacher found the vehicle yesterday morning after an extensive search.

It has now been taken away to be crushed.

Newark Police said: "This is another uninsured vehicle taken off the road.

"Enquiries are continuing and we will continue to make the roads of Newark and Sherwood and safer place."
