Newark teenager nominated for award

A teenage boy who could speak no English when he moved to Newark from Poland but is now fluent and helps other foreign pupils has been nominated for Nottinghamshire Young People of the Year, YOPEY, competition.
Seb Kijak, 13, of Mount Road, Newark, is a pupil at the Grove School, Balderton, and has been nominated by the head, Mrs Patricia Head.
