Newark winner in People's Postcode Lottery

A Newark resident has scooped £1,000 thanks to their lucky postcode.

The postcode NG24 4FFlanded the People’s Postcode Lottery’s Daily Prize on Monday.

A minimum of 31% of the lottery's ticket sales goes directly to charities.

Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £229 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

These include Dial a Trip, based in Tuxford, which was awarded £1,997 last year.

Its volunteer drivers use their own cars to provide lifts to elderly and disabled people who have difficulty accessing public or private transport.
