It comes after RAF Typhoon jets conducted night flight exercises over the Newark area in March.

A spokesman from RAF Cranwell said: "For those of you who live near to RAF Cranwell, we wanted to let you know that there will be some night flying taking place this month.

"The 45 Squadron, who are part of No 3 Flying Training School, based at RAF Cranwell, expect to conduct night flying during the period April 19-21 and 26-28.

"Night Flying is a vital element of the MFTS Multi Engine Pilot Training syllabus as it helps prepare trainee pilots for their future front line roles.

"Thank you for your continued support."
