No criminal charges to be brought relating to Newark toddler Louisiana-Brooke's death in Ingoldmells caravan fire




No criminal charges are to be brought in connection with the death of little Louisiana-Brooke Dolan in a caravan fire at a holiday park last August, Lincolnshire Police have confirmed.

The cause of the fire that tragically took her life on August 23, 2021, has not been identified, but the investigation has concluded there was no criminal intent.

Lincolnshire Police said: “We have concluded our investigation into the circumstances that surrounded the very sad death of a two-year-old girl at Ingoldmells, on August 23, 2021.

"Following an extensive investigation, no criminal charges will be bought in connection with the incident, and a file will be passed to the coroner.

"Our thoughts are with the family."

Louisiana-Brooke was born in Newark was described as the most gorgeous child, full of fun and cheeky.

Her mother, Natasha Broadley, managed to save her other three children but could not reach Louisiana.

Hundreds of people lined the streets of Newark and attended Louisiana's funeral at the parish church to pay their respects and share in the family's pain.

The tot’s grave in Newark Cemetery is always covered in flowers and messages of love.

A fundraising page raised thousands to support the three remaining children.

Natasha lost Louisiana-Brooke on the fourth day of a family holiday.

Natasha said, for the family, that first holiday to the seaside had been special and full of memories that would never leave her for the right reasons ­— Louisiana going on her first fairground rides, playing in the arcades and always smiling and laughing.

An inquest opening gave a provisional cause of death as the inhalation of products of combustion.

It has been adjourned until a later date.
