No objection to Southwell stables application despite planning history

No objection was made to plans to extend private stables.

The application for the stables at Radley House, Oxton Road, Southwell, proposes an extension of the block to increase the number of horse stalls.

Construction materials would match the existing stable and the house.

Southwell Town Council's planning and highways committee had no objections ­— but queried the lack of planning permission for the existing stable block.

There is no record of an application on Newark and Sherwood District Council’s online planning register.

Despite this, the committee members judged the application on its own merit.

The district council will have the final say.
