Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue report no people were involved or injured in the house fire on Middleton Road, Newark

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of a house fire in Newark.

Crews from across the district attended the incident on Middleton Road yesterday (Monday, April 18) at roughly 4pm.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue sent crews from Newark, Collingham, Bingham, London Road, and Grantham to the house fire.

A spokesman for the service said the incident was scaled down.

One fire engine from Newark Fire Station remained at the scene last night.

No people were involved or injured in the fire.
