NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBERS 10 & 12 CLAYPOLE PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2016

On 2 October 2017 Lincolnshire County

Council confirmed the above-named Order.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to

divert that part of Public Footpath No.12 in the

parish of Claypole running from OSGR SK

8501 4947 to OSGR SK 8510 4924. The total

length of footpath to be diverted to be 247

metres as shown on the Order plan. Also that

part of Public Footpath No.10 in the parish of

Claypole running from OSGR SK 8537 4917 to

OSGR SK 8515 4937. The total length of

footpath to be diverted to be 288 metres as

shown on the Order plan TO ALTERNATIVE

ROUTES in the Parish of Claypole being that

part of Public Footpath No. 12 to be 2 metres

wide running from OSGR SK 8501 4947 to

OSGR SK 8507 4945 to OSGR SK 8515 4937.

The total length of footpath to be added to be

182 metres as shown on the Order plan. Also

that part of Public Footpath No. 10 to be 2

metres wide running from OSGR SK 8537

4917 to OSGR SK 8531 4914 to OSGR SK

8526 4916 then running at a width of between

1.8 and 2 metres to OSGR SK 8517 4917 then

continuing at 2 metres wide to OSGR SK 8516

4917 to OSGR SK 8516 4916 to OSGR SK

8510 4917 to OSGR SK 8510 4918. The total

length of footpath to be added to be 322

metres as shown on the Order plan.

A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order

plan has been placed and may be seen during

normal office hours at the offices of Legal

Services Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire County

Council, 45-49 Newland, Lincoln, LN1 1YS

where copies of the Order and plan may

be requested free of charge (Ref:

SXI.ENV024.70.CLAYPOLE -Sally Ironmonger,

tel: 01522 552117). A further copy of the

confirmed Order and the Order plan have been

placed on deposit and may be seen at the

offices of South Kesteven District Council, the

Guildhall, St Peter's Hill, Grantham, Lincs,

NG31 6PZ on weekdays.

The Order comes into force as from 30

October 2017 but if a person aggrieved by the

Order desires to question the validity of it, or of

any provision contained in it, on the ground

that it is not within the powers of the Highways

Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that

any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of

any regulation made under the Act has not

been complied with in relation to the Order he

or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2

to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of

Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from

12 October 2017 make an application to the

High Court.
