Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire have yellow Met Office weather warning for wind

A weather warning for Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire has been extended until 5pm.

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning on Wednesday for wind of up to 60mph, but this afternoon the warning was extended.

The forecaster's website says that there may be some delays to transport and there's a chance of some cancellations as well as some road/bridge closures.

Some short term loss of power and other services is also possible.

Warnings were issued across the country and include Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

The yellow weather warning is the least severe that the Met Office issues.
