Nottinghamshire Police scheme offers drug and alcohol advice for adults




A new scheme being offered by Nottinghamshire Police is offering drug and alcohol advice for adults.

The New Directions initiative is a free and confidential service for those in need and is based across Newark and Ollerton.

The service is open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Nottinghamshire who is experiencing drugs and alcohol problems.

Notts Police also take referrals from GPs, other treatment providers, housing providers and probation staff as part of a Change Grow Live programme.

It will also be on offer to people in Mansfield, Ashfield, Worksop, Hucknall, Broxtowe and Rushcliffe.
