Ollerton councillor made MBE

Ollerton county councillor Mrs Stella Smedley has been appointed an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
Mrs Smedley, who has been a county councillor since 1977, was recognised for her services to local government.
She has also served on Ollerton Parish Council, Southwell Rural District Council and Newark and Sherwood District Council in her long political career.
