Newark pageant star Courtney-Jade Greenberry heads to Miss Teen Great Britain finals

A teenager is aiming for the top title at a pageant.

Courtney-Jade Greenberry, 17, of Newark, has found success in the pageant industry after leaving school, and is now heading off to compete in a national grand final.

She was awarded the Miss Teen Nottinghamshire title in a competition involving rounds of judging for clothing and personality.

She went on to compete in the Miss Teen Great Britain pageant, sponsored by Fiona White, of The White Dress Agency, where she has been selected as a finalist and will be heading off to Blackpool to compete with other winners from each region of the country.

Courtney said: “It means a lot to win the title. When I went through school I didn’t have much self confidence and to know that multiple people see me differently to how I see myself is re-assuring. Its nice to know that the things I thought about myself aren’t true.”
