Person hospitalised after Newark and Southwell fire crews attend crash in Normanton




A person was hospitalised after a road traffic collision.

Newark and Southwell firefighters attended a crash between a car and lorry on Friday at 10am.

They arrived at Normanton Road, near Southwell, and extracted one person trapped in the car.

The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Later that afternoon, Southwell and Newark firefighters attended a large manure fire in the open, with multiple seats of fire.

Harworth Fire Station assisted as well as the water bowser.
