Bingham photographer wins big in British Institute of Professional Photography contest
A photographer has won several awards in a prestigious competition.
Malcolm Sales, of Bingham, left the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) regional contest with Photographer of the Year in three separate categories.
They were street and documentary, photojournalism and editorial, and fine art.
Malcolm, said: “It’s terrific to be recognised and to have gotten something out of lockdown.
“When lockdown started, I decided to keep a record and to take pictures of life to remember how it was.”
Malcolm runs Buttercross Photography in Bingham.
BIPP chief executive Martin Baynes said: “The quality of this year’s entries was very high, with many wonderful and creative images in all genres.
"Myself and the judges were blown away by the talent and creativity shown."
