Southwell play park reopens with new equipment after second phase of restoration completed

A play park has reopened this week following the installation of new equipment.

Norwood Gardens, Southwell, which is also accessible from the Southwell Trail, has been undergoing improvement work which has seen the park's equipment upgraded and expanded.

A zipline, bucket swing and standing see-saw have now been installed, with protective rubber matting around each attraction.

The equipment was chosen on recommendation from residents, who took part in Southwell Town Council's consultation, and was agreed by councillors at a meeting last November.

The installation marks phase two of the park's improvement.
