The picture was snapped yesterday (February 7) and Newark Police have since launched an appeal to help find the transit van.

Newark Police said: "These vehicles were seen loading a transit style van between them".

One resident responded to a picture of the post claiming it was their van, she said: "That looks just like our double cab ford transit tipper. Ours was stolen from Coventry in December."

She said she had been in contact with the police.
