Police appeal for information following serious injury during Outlaw Triathlon

A 49-year-old man remains in a serious condition after coming off his bike into a ditch in Southwell.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to Leachcroft Hill near to the junction with Oxton Road at 8.45am yesterday (Sunday 20 May 2018) during the Outlaw Half Nottingham triathlon.

The road was closed for a few hours and the race was diverted.

Serious collision investigators believe the collision could have happened up to an hour earlier and are appealing to anyone who might have dash cam footage or who saw what happened.

The cyclist was wearing black clothing with blue trim and was riding a black road bike.
