Police release CCTV image of woman reported missing from parent's house in Edwinstowe
Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who was reported missing on Saturday.
25-year-old Alex Bradley was reported missing after failing to return to her parent’s address in Edwinstowe where she had been staying.
Emergency services were called to her address after 7pm on Saturday after a report of a fire, but Alex had left prior to their arrival.
The attached image shows Alex in Coal Cart Road, Birstall, Leicestershire, heading towards the A6 services at the A46/A6 junction. This was after 7pm on Saturday.
She has blonde bleached hair which is said to have grown out showing dark natural roots. However, in the CCTV image it looks as though she may have dyed her hair dark brown.
She had her hair in a bun on Saturday when she left her parent's house but she normally wears it in two plaits.
Alex is white, very slim, 5ft 1-2ins tall and was wearing black jeans and a black parka-style jacket with a hood when she was last seen.
She was carrying a black bag.
Detective Inspector Mark Brennan, of Leicestershire Police, said: “Our inquiries to locate Alex are continuing and I would ask anyone who has seen or knows of her whereabouts to come forward as soon as possible.
“We do not know if Alex was injured as a result of the fire at her address and her safety is of major concern to both her family and police.
“It is currently half term and I know there will be plenty of people out and about. If you see Alex, please get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 999 quoting incident number 542 of May 28.
