Nottinghamshire Police, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue and East Midlands Ambulance Service attend collision on Hawton Road, Newark

The police, fire and ambulance service are at the scene of a collision in Newark.

An elderly man is being attended to by East Midlands Ambulance Service after a collision between two cars on Hawton Road at 9.58am.

The collision was believed to be between two cars, one of which was parked.

Nottinghamshire Police confirmed their had been no serious injuries, while the fire service were at the scene to deal with smoke coming from one of the cars.
