Police raid Newark address in search for drugs

Police raided an address on Northgate, Newark, looking for illegal drugs this morning (Thursday).
A door was put through with a battering ram by specialist officers at around 7.30am this morning while the occupants were still in bed.
Searches of the property were carried out but no drugs were found and no arrests were made.
Sergeant Paul Cash, neighbourhood policing sergeant in Newark, said: "Keep reporting suspicious activity relating to drugs. All intelligence will be assessed and we will take action wherever possible."
