Police release photo of crash victim

A photograph of a 21-year-old man from Ollerton who died in a crash on Sunday has been released by police.

Jamie Ord, of Cinder Lane, sustained multiple injuries when the gold Peugeot 106 he was travelling in left the A6075 Ollerton Road just before 6am.

He and David Blair, 20, of Lansbury Road, Edwinstowe, who was also in the car, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

An inquest was opened and adjourned at Nottingham Coroner’s Court on Tuesday to allow their funerals to take place.

A host of floral tributes, an England flag and a Manchester United and a Newcastle United football shirt mark the place where the crash happened opposite a sewerage works on the A6075.

Jamie and David were former pupils of the Dukeries College, Ollerton.

Both families were too upset to speak to the Advertiser this week.
