Police seek driver
Police in Newark are hunting a driver who was involved in a collision with a parked vehicle, but failed to stop at the scene.
The incident occurred in Cherry Holt, Newark, at around 9.30pm on Sunday, November 21, when a dark coloured vehicle on an 06 plate collided with a red Citroen C3 parked on the side of the road.
The Citroen was pushed around 20metres up the road as a result of the impact, and suffered significant damage. The offending vehicle then drove off towards Windsor Avenue.
Officers believe the front of the vehicle would have been extensively damaged in the collision and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, who was in the area at the time, or has seen a dark-coloured vehicle with front-end damage to contact them.
