Coronavirus: Newark Police officers treated by Waitrose, on Ossington Way, Newark, for their vital work

Newark Police officers were treated and thanked yet again for their vital work during such unprecedented times.

Officers on the rota 5 response shift on Friday were surprised with a foodie care package from Waitrose on Ossington Way.

They thanked the supermarket for its delivered gifts and shared them around the police station.

The team said: "Thanks for putting a smile on our faces, we truly appreciate the show of support and you can all count on ours."
