Police warning over car keys
Police are appealing for information after a vehicle was stolen from Old Lincoln Road, Caythorpe, Lincolnshire.
It happened between 10.30pm on March 17 and 6.30am the following morning.
Thieves broke in through the back door and stole three sets of keys. They then took a grey Nissan Navara, registration M16SAL, which was parked nearby.
Inspector Nigel Storey of Lincolnshire Police said: "It is important that people do not leave their car keys lying around downstairs in their house when they go to bed. Thieves are looking to steal cars in this way. Very often people leave them on a kitchen worktop or a table and they can be seen by someone looking through your window. We would advise that people put them out of sight, or take them up to bed with them."
Anyone with information should contact Lincolnshire Police on 0300 111 0300.
