Newark Advertiser poll: Do you support union members in their rail strike action?
Rail strikes are affecting travellers to and from Newark.
Specifically, most trains from Newark to Lincoln and vice versa are being affected and some may be cancelled.
Trains in the morning and last trains may be a lot earlier than usual, so people should prepare for this.
It comes as RMT union members take strike action following a breakdown in talks without agreement.
Services will be significantly reduced, more so on Thursday (June 23) and Saturday, June 25.
Customers should only travel by rail if necessary. If you do decide to travel, plan ahead and leave extra time for disruption and short notice changes.
Please be aware that alternative road transport will not be provided if your train is not planned to run.
Mick Lynch, RMT general secretary, said: "Grant Shapps has wrecked these negotiations by not allowing Network Rail to withdraw their letter threatening redundancy for 2,900 of our members.
"Until the government unshackle Network Rail and the train operating companies, it is not going to be possible for a negotiated settlement to be agreed.
"We will continue with our industrial campaign until we get a negotiated settlement that delivers job security and a pay rise for our members that deals with the escalating cost of living crisis."
