Collingham Show and Ploughing Match to return to Larksfield, Newark Road, on September 16
Once again it’s time for the annual Collingham Show and Ploughing Match, which takes place on September 16 at Larksfield on Newark Road.
Attractions this year include scurry and trials driving, dog agility and an equestrian vaulting display.
There will be over 100 vintage and classic vehicles on display and paraded at the end of the day.
The popular companion dog show will see entries of all shapes and sizes.
The show is organised by a group of local volunteers.
Society chairman Diane Rowland said he looking forward to another great family friendly event.
Advance ticket sales are well up on last year and there are a good number of entries in all the competition classes.

Traditional agricultural attractions this year include more than 70 competitors in the ploughing, including six horse ploughing teams.
There’s the hedge laying plashing competition, heavy horses, livestock, and ridden horse and pony classes in the designated equestrian ring.
In the horticultural marquee you’ll find the best of locally grown produce, floral displays and bakery skills.
This year the craft marquee is even bigger giving you more opportunity to meet some of the local rural arts and crafts producers.
Get your camera ready, as weather permitting, there will be a flyover by the Lancaster Bomber from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
Trade stands and bouncy castles, tug of war and welly-wanging all add up to a great family day out.
On the gate entry costs £10 (under 14’s free) £8 in advance.
