Manager at The Plough, Coddington, takes on push-up challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust




A Newark resident has challenged himself to complete 3,000 push-ups this month to raise money for charity.

Lee Cummins, general manager of The Plough, Coddington, has decided to take on the physical challenge for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

He said: “What’s really been helping me is customers coming in and saying drop down and give me ten; I’ve come from doing no exercise at all to doing this.

“I just want to do something for these kids that are going through a daily battle.”

Robin Overbury, 7, decided to help Lee with his challenge by doing some push-ups with him during a visit to the pub.
