Pupils from the Magnus family of schools put on a performance to a packed audience at The Everyday Champions Centre, Newark.

About 100 pupils took part in the performing arts showcase, comprising musical numbers, dances and drama.

Community arts coordinator at the Magnus, Miss Leanne Phillips, said the children were outstanding.

“It was a successful show with such a diverse range of performances from a mix of age groups,” she said.

“This is the second year we have done the show and it was definitely bigger and better.

“Our aim is to develop it into a youth arts festival and extend it to include workshops around the schools.”
