Pupils try a triathlon

About 1,400 pupils took part in two of the largest triathlon events in the East Midlands this week.
Children in Newark and Sherwood, aged nine-12, took part in the events as part of National Sports Week.
About 800 children took part in a triathlon — a 50-metre swim, a 2,000-metre cycle and a 400-metre run — at the Grove Leisure Centre and The Grove School, Balderton, on Wednesday.
A company called One Step Beyond co-ordinated the events and provided equipment.
