A Prison Break on November 25 will be the first fundraising event for a new group, formed by four Newark-based children’s charities.

Newark and Sherwood Children’s Charities Group is launched today.

It has been formed by Newark and Notts Child Bereavement and Loss Centre, known as Sue’s Place, Think Children, CASY (Counselling and Support For Young People) and Home-Start Newark.

The group’s Prison Break, using the cells at the former Newark Police Station, will involve eight people who must raise a set amount of bail to secure their release.
