David Wilson Homes are selling a selection of new homes as part of a reduced cost housing scheme
Up to 25% off the cost of a new home is being offered at a Fernwood development for eligible buyers.
A selection of three, four and five bedroom homes are being sold by David Wilson Homes as part of a reduced cost housing scheme, as per the planning agreement with Newark and Sherwood District Council, to have 25% discounted open market homes at the Phoenix Lane development.
To be eligible, buyers must have been born in or currently live in Newark, or have had to move away from the town due to a lack of low- cost housing.
In addition, anyone whose work provides important services and requires them to work closer to the local community are entitled to a property at the reduced cost.
With the properties retaining their discounted value, any homebuyers looking to make a move further down the line can only do so with a sale of 75% of the market value.
The company said it was a good chance to get on the property ladder.
