His death is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious. The results of a post-mortem suggest that Andrew drowned.

Andrew left work at Talbot Chemicals in Newark at around 2pm on Monday, December 3 and at around 2.25pm he walked in to The White Swan pub at the junction of North Gate and Queens Road.

He left shortly afterwards, leaving by the back door that took him onto Queens Road. He is believed to have visited the Kings Arms, on Kirkgate, and Belams Bar, on Cartergate, later that afternoon.

We do not where he went from that point.

Officers are also trying to establish how Andrew reached the Dirty Duck pub at Woolsthorpe.

If you have any information which might help the police in their investigation please contact 101 and quote Incident 255 of December 5.

Alternatively, email force.control@lincs.pnn.police.uk and put Incident 255 in the Subject line.
